The Final 4.....

Nick, for someone that seems to to know a lot about the game, how can you not grasp how attempting to do something and doing it has the same punishment in the FIFA rule book?

Zlatan, its nice to see you support a team with the same sort of success as yourself in the winning department.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

1. Everyone has already formed their opinions on Pepe's punishment

2. Everyone appears to be unwilling to change their opinions, no matter what arguments anyone else makes

3. Everyone is desperately trying to convince others their opinion is correct, and not succeeding (because of #2)

Soooooooo I don't really see the point of this thread anymore. We should probably just ro sham bo to settle the debate.

Eddy quality videos.

My point though is not the diving and the ref decisions there, as much as other ref decisions.

Im talking the Van Persie sending off, the Chelsea penalties not given etc.

You cant just tell me "the ref just happened to be a moron".

Something more to it perhaps?

Yeah, like playing the ref playing15 minutes stoppage time when the fourth official only signalled for 8-Oh wait a second...

Or like how the ref gave a goal in the champions league even though its no where close to been over the line-oh shit wait...

Not sure where you came up with the information to support such a claim, which makes you, a fabricator, a liar, and an idiot. If not, and you do have a dossier on me, can you please tell me what my favorite color is, what brand my pillow covers are, and what my social security number is please?

You're failing in this thread, so I thought it was a natural progression to assume you fail in life as well.

Have you ever been to liverpool?

Two can play the troll-game. But only one shall win.

You have no idea what your talking about. Glad the education system has put out another waste of tax payers money, hopefully your parent's aren't shelling out money for your education either.

Your clearly just trying to turn the attention towards me cause you can't think of any valid retorts towards what I've said about you. Obviously, since you can't think of anything, you just come up with something that you think sounds witty and smart-ass, but really it just sounds like your trying to fabricate something out of nothing, which really has no concrete value in relation to and or about my character, accomplishments (your "success/winning" argument), or my life.

Quite disappointing you'd have to resort to blind assumptions.

And, no I haven't been to Liverpool for a game- haven't found the time to do it, it's on the agenda if you'd like to know. Unfortunately college and other projects I have take more precedence over a vacation.

Doesn't mean a damn thing, if your trying to use this information as an attempt to discredit me being a Liverpool fan, see more than one of us can assume as well. :o

Never argue with an idiot. They will only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

its funny, people say our bias is to big to talk neutrally but i see everytime its the same, barca haters vs barca lovers...

all i know is there's something called victimization and feeling sorry for yourself when you don't uptain something...

Mourinho says he won the chEmpions (he can't even pronounce champions) league last year through effort, hard work, and sacrifice, but he had the same or more help from the ref than barcelona... he seems to forget MIlito's offside goal, Sneijder's Pk over Alves, or Bojan unvalidated goal that nobody has a clue why it got called back yet... But since he won it, it was through hard work and sacrifice and effort..

The ref's make bad calls all the time.. in the "disgwace" vs Arsenal, Van Persie got send out, correct, but before that he high fived Dani Alves face with 2 hands when the play had already ended, in Emirates Barcelona got a goal called off, and 2 pk's weren't called in their favour..

Yet, you don't here them whinning over the ref, and saying Arsenal has help from the UEFA, THE UNICEF, THE OTAN, THE ONU, THE CIA, THE FBI, AND AL QAEDA, for crying out loud, thats making excuses thats the oldest trick on the freaking book..

We can all agree some players in FCB dive like sissy's to get calls in their favours, and thats sad, but so do Ronaldo, Marcelo, and Di Maria, and its not a mortal sin now a days in football since all the teams unfortunately do it...

Again, you have a dream freakin team before your eyes, that gets calls against them and calls in their favour, don't fall into the mourinho bullshit that barcelona wins because of the ref's and there super secret conspiracy with every organization out there, and everytime Madrid or one of his team win's its because of hard work, sacrifice, and effort

Im talking the Van Persie sending off

Mate im seriously thinking that the fact that you live in Australia and the games are at 6.00 am isn't allowing you to experience all the events that occured in the game..

For the 26th time, in that leg there was a completely onside Messi goal called off, and 2 pk's that where clear handballs not called in favor of barcelona... In the secon leg, in cmap nou, Van Persie slapped Dani Alves when the play was else where and just got a yellow, he later stepped on Messi from behind, the lad was playing dirty football, if your gonna debate, please accept the reality and the two sides of what happened..

Yes, Van Persie shouldn't have gotten send off, it was a harsh red card..

But there where other calls that seriously affected barca as well, like i've mentioned above, and all you've been doing is 4 posts later saying that the ref's favor Barcelona cause look at the Van Persie sending off, when you are neglecting so many other calls and events of the game. if any one is beeing biased and closed minded its yuo.

its imposible to argue with a person who's only willing to talk, but never willing to listen..

More question marks.. there are lot of videos up in the internet that proof that Pepe did foul Alves, and that those circling around the net showing that he didn't are fake and made in movie maker:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation ... feature=iv

(this is what the ref saw, and the original image, do you seriously blame him for pulling out the red card?)

Look at how Alves leg moves, it goes foward as to kick the ball, and then bounces back with such nature that its almost imposible to fake.

and look where the ball is and where pepe is going with his cleats, he never went for the ball. right in the tibia.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9GLU9hN ... ded#at=127

Longer video (in spanish) sorry showing the photo shop, alteration and edition of the original image...

Is Dani Alves that good, to act and imitate to the perfection, laws of physics, momentum and movement, that take place when 180 pound man, kicks another one who has one foot in the air, and rotate perfectly? i think thats nearly imposible that with 1 foot on the ground trying to kick the ball he had the strength in his supporting foot to rotate in the other direction imitating perfectly what seems to be a kick with the studs in his other leg....

i would particularly like AJC's opinion on this..

To think places like sky and real madrid faked the video is stupid all by itself. Similarly from the first video i can tell he completely missed the leg and in the second while it looks bad he still didn't touch him intent or not.

i think the reason alves' leg bounces back like that is because they both hit the ball at the same time, but pepe went in way harder. thats why alves spun around as well.
don't get me wrong, if i was the ref i'd have sent pepe off as well. it looked malicious from every angle, even if he didn't actually get him.
